| It was a vacuum leak. The bolts from the upper to lower intake were loose and blew out a piece of the gasket. Runs great now , thanks |

| yes it's a slider. I guess I will need to pull the valve cover to check things out. Hard to get time correct witht he idle bouncing from 1K to 2K. |

| I didn't replace or machine the flywheel. I really didn't have any warning before it went out. When replacing the trans is it easier to replace with the bell housing on the trans or separate ? |
