I'd worry more about the video camera on the dash of the Black & White, watching your nice shiny spoke wheels. If they are still moving when you go through the stop sign, guess who's guilty. When the nice gentlemen in the Black & White makes a note that your wheels aren't spinners, it's time to pay the fine.

It would be in your best interest to stop! You might not be in an accident. The nice guy in the Black & White won't write you a ticket. Your insurance rate won't go sky high. You'll have more money to invest in your ride and the local constabulary won't need so many nice guys in Black & Whites. Now your taxes will be lower and you'll have more to spend. Guess what, you won't need to buy some silly ass paint for your license plate.....and save even more money to invest in your ride.

After checking out the sites and articles given on this thread a couple things keep repeating. First: all over the country these cams are being used as income producing for both private companies and local govt agencies. Second: it doesn't matter law abidding you are, if they take your pic you get a fine. The yellow light is shortened much of the time to create your 'crime'. Many places where the cams were installed, the yellow light does not allow time to clear the intersection even if you entered legally and doing the speed limit. Because of this - three: accident rates are actually going up in cam intersections. Law abidding drivers know they cannot get through the intersection if the light turns yellow so they are stopping short of the intersection, and getting rear ended. The cams appear to be creating more dangerous situations because of the way they are managed but my God, how the money rolls in. Four: not all of the brands of paint work. Those that do only work if there is a flash with the cam. Not all the intersection cams have flash. Conclusion: Intersection cams are big money, logic seldom enters into the way they are managed. They will be with us and some paint works some of the time.

That sucks i thought settin up speed traps was bad enough
