Backup Lamps + Switch

Go figure, I get the engine all sorted out, and I find something new. My backup lamps are ON all the time. I am assuming the switch or relay somewhere is stuck. I think it may be the switch, as the car was parked for a bit, and I had it in reverse when I park (Manual Transmission, 87 TC) I am looking in the manual for the switch, but it talkes about a Column Mounted switch, and then it talks about a 4 Speed, under the section for manual transmission. Can anyone offer any help on where this switch is located? Or why they would be ON all the time?

It located on the friver's side of the tranny
in the big (front) part of the case. It should unscrew from the case and will have a wiring harness going to it. P/N is 15520

Thanks for the info Pete, but a guy over at TurboFord helped me out. Turns out the switch isn't bad, but the wires to it are frayed like hell. Gonna solder them and see if that helps, and if not, gonna pull the plug.. Thanks htough!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I soldered the frayed wires, and everything is back in working order!
