3" tail pipe

I have a turn down at my muffler, looking for a 3" tail pipe to go the rest of the way back,I checked in Summit and all I could find is a 2 1/2, can I run the 2 1/2 or will that restrict what I have got? or does anyone know where to get a 3" tail pipe besides stainless.........thanks Rod

I would think by that point in the exhaust system the restriction would be nil, so I would just put on the 2 1/2 inch pipe. Besides it will easier to install over the axle than the 3", which I've heard can be a real PITA!
