Help! I was out driving Wednesday night and my turbo was boosting just fine. Thrusday morning, no boost, no nothing! Engine is running fine. What could have happened between the time I shut down Wednesday...........and I fired up Thrusday?
I've checked the vac lines at the tree and all is well there. Is there a basic checklist I can run thru to pinpoint the source of the problem?..........before I have to take it to Ford and get burned.

*Intercooler hoses and clamping
*Check shaft for ease of turning, end play, side play, blades hit housing
*Check WG. Is it stuck open? Is the rod from the WGA still connected.

Thanks Pete, but I don't know how to check the wastegate. Can you guide me through that process.......is it easy.......complicated........can a novice do this without screwing up something else?

The rod coming from the waste gate actuator (WGA) attaches to a pivot arm for the waste gate (WG). Sometimes the "E" clip will fall off and the rod will drop out of the WG pivot arm, allowing the waste gate to be "blown" open and then you won't get boost.
