So the problem is the AGR pump is leaking at the front seal.
I'm talking with them about replacing it.
It also is whining and they say it is due to the old high pressure line.
They say thats where it is sucking in air into the system.
I say it is whining due to the bad front seal and thats where it is sucking air.
I don't see how a high pressure line can suck in air if it does not leak.
Any thoughts?
I am going to replace the line before I reinstall the replacement AGR pump AGAIN!
Can't hurt,,,
Does anyone have that part number for the high pressure line?

So I have been taking back and forth with Matt, the tech guy at ARG and he is very informed and helpful.
I am replacing the high pressure line today to try and illuminate the air that is getting into the system causing the whine.
Matt says that even if that line doesn't leak fluid it can still suck air.
So,,, I'll be under the car today replaceing that line.
The new line is a bit different then the stock line but I tend to think it is due to an up-graded design.
Matt described what the line should be with a teflon seal and O ring on it but the stock one I have does not have a teflon seal.
I also have another stock line I removed from another bird that is the same and it doesn't have that seal either.
I'll let you know if it cures that problem.
AGR will warranty the pump either way.
O,, Matt also said that sometimes it takes a while for the front pump seal to wear in if you use synthetic fluid which I am (AMSOIL)

Much quieter since I replaced the high pressure line and the return hard line from the rack.
Under 2250 RPM it is very quiet!
Above that there is a very slight whine,, not too bad though.
Not sure if all the air is out of the system yet and will be checking that tomorrow.
I would recommend that anyone doing a pump replacement that they also replace the lines.
I got the line from NAPA.
The high pressure line, part #7-1842 was $19.06 and the return hard line with hose, part #7-1715 was $14.40 with my discount.
I would have never guessed that a non-leaking line could suck air,,,

BLKBRD, hope things are good, and my recommendation was good for you. I did replace my lines but it was more because i replaced the rack as well and figured that was the time to do it... I didn't have any problem with the seal however i did use the Redline fluid. Hope yours is working good.

Very interesting.I have not ordered mine yet (due to circumstances beyond my control) but I am going to soon, and I'll replace the lines also.
Thanks for the info, guys!!! I'm really looking forward to hearing my car without that annoying noise.
