I just put on a new t3 on my 88 tc,and I didnt get a drain tube with it so I went to the junkyard and pulled one off a merkuer which turned out to be bad.I cut off the part that was cracked and ran rubber hose down to the tube on the block and its still leaking.Does anyone have a solution to this or has anyone ever had this problem?A couple of my freinds with tc's with t3's are running the drain the same exact way and they have never had a problem.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.thanks

My kids learn a few new words when I have to mess with those metal drain tubes. They last forever, but they are a royal pain to take on and off.

This isn't mine but I want one:

In my opinion this is a great way to go. It may not last for 200K miles, but it will be tons easier to work with.

I see they rate the silicon hose to 500 degrees. How will that hold up next to the hot turbo and exhaust manifold that have 1200+ degree gasses flowing through them?

Check out this one. http://www.maxpsiracing.com/fordreturn.html
