As I stated above, chck your fuel pressure. Just because the FPR is not leaking doesnt mean it is working correctly.

i dont suppose there is an easy way to check the pressure without a gauge cause i dont have a fuel pressure gauge. p.s. i found an 88 t bird at my local junk yard and grabbed alot of small odds and ends including the decals on the trunk that i was missin.

see if a parts store will let you borrow/rent a guage and do it in the parking lot. Alot of times you can give them ur credit card and then they charge the cost of the gauge then return it when u return the part. there is a shrader valve like how you fill your tires in the fuel rail. it will have a cap on it (like a tire). If not you could always drive to a shop especaily one where you see mechanics with the doors open (its nice out today in pa) and drive up and say hey can you check this fuel pressure for me quick, it will take a second so unless they are real dicks they should just do it. Thats what i would do if you dont want to just buy one. You could always just buy one to install in the line and would probably be a benifit anyway.
