Does anyone know what the drag is on TC'S ? I wonder how it measures up to late model cars.
2 87 TC's one is a Watkins Glen

0.32 comes to mind for the 87-88 but I can't find the source at the moment. Ford does considerable bragging about the shape of the "aerostyle design" starting in 83 with 87 the best of the effort but provides no figures in the sales literature.
Here are somes examples of CDs from the Sunday New York Times:

And the below mentioned Transam was (and is) .031 for 1983.

They claim that the 83 ( 9th generation birds ) had a drag of .35, but the Cougar guys for same generation say they are at .40 ??? here is link I found

That sounds right. The Couger's roof shape creates more drag with turbulance behind the rear window.

Cougar was .40 for 1983-86, and .36 for 1987-88.
Thunderbird was .35 for 1983-86. I have this much information confirmed. Not sure about 1987-88.
