What is the EDF and is the inergrated controller the IRCM?

EDF = Electro Drive Fan - the cooling fan(s) 2 on 87-88s
Yes, the integrated controller is the IRCM. Among others it has a relay for each fan. Also relays for the fuel pump, A/C clutch and power to the EEC
HDEF is another acronym for the fans

On the TC, the pass side fan in the EDF, and the driver side fan is the HEDF.
