I just got a great deal on a GN IC and had high hopes to install it with relative ease; however, I held it above the engine on my 88 TC and it REALLY doesn't look like there's enough room. I believe I could make it work by swapping out the dual fan assy for the older single unit, and rerouting the lower radiator hose a little, but I would like info from anyone who's done it as to HOW you pulled it off. I have another browser window open as I am typing this, and have been searching the archives for a little over a hour, trying to find some good info, please help...

This is getting ridiculous...
Are there no sources anywhere? All I have been able to find are old links here, and the ones that should or do have pictures no longer work. I did manage to get one pic of scutr's car, but the other two wouldn't work, while two other shots from the same day still do. I also checked turboford and none of the archive links are working, I even tried the cut and paste method while changing the link to the "oldubb", nothing. Pardon my ranting, but at this rate I will have the Air/Water Unit ready to go before I can install the GN IC.
Glenn, might you have some knowledge? Pete? Anyone? I guess I'm back to the trial and error method. Off to search some more. Sorry for the rant...

Contact Randy from the turboford board. He did this in his notch so that should be the same. I know he has many pics.
email him at [email protected]
He is a very nice guy and has always been more than helpful.

The reason pictures are missing is that each person has a 10 picture limit and once they reach that they have to eliminate prior pictures. I have a GN to go in my 88, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I agree the stock cooling fans will have to go

Pete, best of luck when you do get around to it, and if I come out of it with any handy info, I'll be sure to share.

Randy did an excellent job mounitng his intercooler. I really like the new 2.5" inlet/outlets he uses. His piping is also top notch work. Gotta love the red to match the MSD. Good luck with the install. It is a great intercooler and will take very far into the HP addiction. That cooler is more than 99% of us will ever need. Some people won't be happy with anything less than 550+hp. [Image: biggrin.gif] I'll be there some day.
