Since the thunderbirds are fox chassis cars, do all the chassis parts (crossmembers, subframe connectors, aftermarket suspension parts etc) from a mustang work on the Tbird as well?? If not are there parts made specifically for Tbirds?

No and yes. Some parts from Mustangs work, some dont. There are some Tbird specific products out there. Check out the search feature for more details...

Here's a somewhat-detailed list:
Yes
Front suspension:
K-member, upper and lower a-arms, spring isolators, swaybars, swaybar mounts
Frame:
Driveshaft loop, trans crossmembers
Rear suspension:
control arm bushings, gearsets, swaybars, pinion snubber, rear-end covers, lca box re-inforcement stuff

T-Bird/Cougar specific:
(some are the same, but it is alot better to ask for TBird specific stuff on these items)
Endlink kits, springs, struts, caster/camber plates, subframe connectors, upper and lower control arms, shocks

TBirds have longer LCAs, different weight/balance, and different geometry (meaning some parts are longer/shorter) than Mustangs.
Maximum Motorsports makes everything on this list for TCs and they are great high-quality products. Lakewood and CHE also make very nice rear control arm kits, Energy, Prothane, and PST make bushings, and Lakewood, Koni, Bilstein, and KYB all make shocks that are TC specific. I hope this answers your questions.

Awesome list aerobird. Main thing I wanted to know was if those parts are available for the birds. do they cost more than comparable mustang pieces?
