Annoying squeeky doors while driving...

I have many squeaks to hunt down and repair and the easiest to repair, I would hope, is the doors... not the hinge area but rather from the locking mechanism side. Is this common and is the an easy adjustment to remedy the annoying squeaking?

You can get replacement strikers at Advance Auto. It's an easy job to put them in.

Nailed it! No plastic bushings present on either door.. just ordered the striker from Rock Auto.

Thanks again for letting me keep my hair intact with yet another quick and easy resolve!!!

One thing I noticed on my car, I had loosened the lock strikers for whatever reason, but also had the squeaks. What I found out, the strikers were not aligned to the center of the door lock itself. Just before you close the door shut, look to see if the door lock itself and the striker align with each other. If not, loosen striker and adjust. If the striker is slightly up or down, the door is now misaligned, which in turn, caused the bad door squeaks. After aligned, squeaks were completely gone on mine. Hope this helps a little
