88 T/C Rear window trim????

Can you use the 87 metal rear window trim inplace of the later 88 plastic rear window trim?
I assume t/c and non t/c trim is the same except for a chrome strip?

Nope, the 1 piece trim around the window has no tabs, the tabs are what the metal trim parts snap onto, so on a 87 you will see the trim snaps onto a 2-3 inch long part and that part is held there by a little tab that is part of the car. I loike the 1 piece better , looks alot cleaner and smooth . D.Wilder

I wasn't sure it the little nipple that is part of the body that holds the clips was on the later 88's even with the plastic trim.
