Questions about a new nose for my bird

Hey guys & gals:

I decided to introduce myself to someone in Houston traffic and cracked up the nose of my beloved 88 TC.

Now, with no fiberglass between the headlights, it sure runs cool, but I just can't cope with how it looks. And I have to get it inspected.

Has anyone used the aftermarked nose for the TC? Did it fit? I'd like to find an original one, but I haven't found one here in town yet...

Please help! Thanks everyone!

P.S. Ain't it just like a TC - in the last 4 weeks I have fixed a broken T5, had the A/C quit, had a freeze plug go out, cracked the front end, and blew a PRC strut in the process. AAAAHHHHHHGH! I'M NOT GIVING UP YET! [Image: smile.gif]

Aftermarket parts are notorious for not fitting like factory parts. When I replaced the Header on my 86, I went with an aftermarket one. I had to file portions of it (where the Header met each of the fenders) so that the body lines matched up. Since it's fiberglass, it's not that hard to do.
