i had a hell of a time getting bolts out for front a-arms, but after breaking 2 breaker bars(both craftsman) i put a deep socket on the head and used a 24" pipe wrench on the socket and they came right out(only had to stand on wrench to start it, but hey they are out now. just thought someone may benefit

I couldn't get at them with an air impact either - I also used the stand-on-the-breaker-bar method to start them. The 40+ year-old Craftsman 1/2" breaker bar (inherited from my dad) didn't even flinch!

Mine were rusted to the sleeves in the bushings. Took me about 4 hours each (16 hours total) to get them out using breaker bars, pipes, air impact, and heat. What a major PITA.

i keep a piece of fence pipe around for that, and sometimes engine mounts... i guess that area just collects all the salt and water and crap and rusts to hell pretty good sometimes
