I did my heater core in 2 hours in the cold last year.All I did was unbolt the dash and heater box with a/c and swapped them out.My hands got cut up but I got it down pretty quick.

I have ran without egr for years and still got 27/28 mpg.I had to cut mine off to fit the 65mm TB I installed.Most guys pass emissions easily without the egr.

I unbolted the dash and swapped the core out in under 2 hours without cutting a hole.Pretty simple.
