Since I live close enough to Carlisle I'd be willing to bring an intake and exhaust manifold and possibly a head from my 87 TC to the show for the purpose of one of our elder statesman to point out the porting nuances we read so much about. If said elder statesman were to volunteer to host the demo he could possibly throw his porting tools (bits etc.) in his trunk for our viewing pleasure. Any volunteers????????? [Image: biggrin.gif]
I'd be glad to bring a sample of the tools I use. If I get real lucky I might bring some finished samples. In 2000, Dave Godfrey brought a cut up head and gave a talk on porting the 2.3. I'm going to try to find out if he might do it again. He is the expert.
