I don't know....It's not that fast yet but holy s--t that was some well spent cash! The best part is that the boost is there befour 4000 RPM, no 10 psi then 15 psi over 4000rpm Now it's 17 PSI all the way!!! BOV is next I will keep you posted.

Garnett I put my boost valve in on tuesday night, took the car out to adjust it,on the last adjustment ride I noticed a rotten egg smell, car running rich. Did you have any problem like that,I'm going to look into it tonight if time is found. What a difference though, love the power, my buddy with an 87 iroc is getting nervous,he should be!! take care great meeting you at carlisle.

That smell is your cat. I asume that when you add boost the computer adds fuel to compensate. Do you have a high-flow cat? if not it may be time to get one!!!

Garnett, thanks for the advice,I really hate to give up the cat, for the fact we are an emission state, if I had to I could take it on and off every two years but working on cars all day, you hate to make more work for yourself when you get home, more than you have too,eh. Thanks for the advice I may look into this,by the way, much power difference noted without cat?

I still have a cat but it is a high-flow aftermarket pice. It works well performance speaking and it will pass emissions.

how do you guys know what the boost setting is set to with the Gillis Valve? Are there marks on it or do you rely on your gauges?

To set the boost you start out low, the knob on the gillis should show 4-5 threads, lock it in place then test drive, useing a aftermarket guage look at your boost then addjust. thurn the valve in for more boost, out for less boost. Then Re-test. Note: turn valve a bit at a time to prevent over boost. Continue this process untill boost is set to your likeing. Happy boosting [Image: biggrin.gif]
