Let me know what you think.. Is there anything unclear? or any mistakes I should fix?

Should we add it to the 'tech articles' page?

That is an awesome write-up! Very well written and excellent photo quality. This should DEFINITELY be included in the 'Tech Articles' page! Good job!

Kev did you point out the fact that you have an after market radiator int he car and thats why you had to design a new fan setup? with the stock rad nothing in this way has to be changed.

Also the charcoal box only has to move down a couple inches and can be done with a steel plate anda couple bolts.

Third removal of the splash gaurds isnt a total nessesitity I only flapped about 3 inches just to allow some give to the kit.

it does look good though hope you enjoy it.

Brian,

Yes, I did point out my aftermarket radiator, but even with that, there's no way the pipe would have fit with the stock fan and stock radiator.

I also pointed out the canister could be moved or removed, and the hard plastic inner fender splash guards absolutely had to be cut.. the rubbery ones could be slit or cut just around the pipes.

My car is running and pulling great right up to redline..Well worth the effort to install.

Did you measure the distance with a stock radiator to see that it didnt fit?

How thick is you aftermarket rad? The stock one at the core is around 1.5 inches.

Nice Job Kev !!, If you could post the PN#s for the fans that would be great. Even if not needed they look cleaner than the factory fan.

I too had planned on getting the stinger set for my 85 TC. Now my mind is totally made up.

Well i dont think there is such thing as too long with a Tech article, its always good to have more than a sentence with each part.
