I can not decide which color to paint the clear shroud I think and aluminum/silver would look great, if the car was black I would probably give the nod to black. I need help/opinions here! Big Grin

Here is the direct link to the album, it might be an easier way to look at the pictures.

Looking pretty sweet. I'm not sure on shroud color, but I think the design you have is excellent. The tiny projector gets kinda lost in the big Tbird bucket, so I would try to get the paint to help make it pop. That's just me, though. Maybe some photoshop pics could you help you out, anyone got photoshop and artistic design skills around here?

They had some larger projectors available but I wasn't expecting to have so much extra room.

Man this is looking good. i wonder if you could make another bucket for a park lamp on the inside. have it illuminate in bright white ti fill in the are around the projector at night.

Thanks! When I ordered these I almost ordered them with angel eyes which I think would be close to what you are referring to.

ehh not actually an angel eye. but if you have the projectors on at night all you will see is 2 park lights as squares then a blank square with a lighted circle.
you don't have to do this and i'm trying not to sound like a d**k. but if you get the entire bucket lit up it would look full with a bright spot in the center being the projector.
if you make the bucket a chrome/reflective silver and have a few small bulb in a super bright white it should fill in the square bucket.
but you doing a amazing job on this! thank you for taking the time to make something great!

I understand now BJL, and I agree. The bucket may actually be lit up fairly well due to the chrome shroud having slots in the side of it to allow some light to escape to the sides. Trust me I greatly appreciate any and all feed back and don't take any of it as being rude or jerk like! Big Grin

Pictures! Low beam passenger side only, notice the reflection in the window that the driver side isn't even lit yet! Big Grin

A little color.

It hasn't been aimed or even completely bolted in yet. This was just a test to see if all of the wiring came out right!

Here is a pic of the vacuum shroud painted (it still has the protective film on it dulling the color just a little bit) with the clear lense over it.

The projector are looking awesome I think I would like a gloss black as cover for shroud either that or the smoked lenses would look really sweet. Maybe black shroud with cornering lights tinted? (would be neat to see) I think it doesn't match the clear with the non clear. Just my opinion take it with a grain of salt. Awyhow they are looking really good keep up the good work

is there space between the shroud and the actual bucket? if there is try a small bulb or LED in there see if i can illuminate the shroud.

you only need one headlight now! that is soooo frekaing sweeet

were not worthy were not worthy.
you are a master of design! this is awesome...
im about to sell my 87 to fund doing this to my 88!
i wonder if you put those projectors in the foglamp holes if they are high enough to cover the road.... hmmmmmm.
i love this but im affriad it might take the look away of the factory lens and not look like a TC.
but its so frekaing sweeeet! you the man!
