Dumb question about the smaller secondary fan on my 88. Would it be worth while for optimal cooling for it kick on the same time the primary fan does??

It would just cool it faster ..... The problem with the stock set up is not how fast it cools but when the fan kicks on 220+ my gauge will almost peg somtimes before the fan comes on then it comes down pretty quick

Going threw that now and man I kinda shit bricks on the highway seeing that gauge go up for a few and then come back down. Is there any way fix this? Wish my A/C worked because doesnt that force the secondary fan to kick in?

It's suposed to I don't have a belt on the ac and it won't kick the fan in

You can get a lower temp fan switch I orderd a 16" slim fan and a 185 on 170 off sensor

So your not pulling out a existing sending unit to run the aftermarket sender?
