Wiring harness routing

As many of you know I'm swapping dashes in my car. So here's my question to anyone who's had experience similar to this. Where does the wiring harness route through? On my old dash I had to remove part of the duck work and the wiring harness was tucked behind it. Also, on my old dash there were several relays just dangling and I can't seem to find where to hide them. Any advice/diagrams/pictures would be greatly appreciated.
