Hey guys,how's everbody?Well I'm back with another you-know-what.This time it's my!@#$%^&* wipers,they will NOT go all the way down unhder the hood.If I turn them off and on about 40 times in a row real fast sometimes they give in but now they are just sitting in the middle of my WS and man are they a pain in the arse!Real un to try and see around.The low,high,and intermittent settings all function perfectly but they just won't go away!!!Please help?

hey dont feel so bad, one of my wipers fell off while i was driving in the rain last week, and i havent replaced it yet.....its actually not that bad driving in the rain with no wipers =)

Very common problem on Ford depressed park wipers. I remember seeing an article somewhere about taking the wiper motor apart and rebending some metal tabs that guide the sliding metal plate on the back of the motor to fix the problem. Probably easier to grab a new wiper motor from the JY that hopefully is in better shape than yours. Any 83-88 Tbird motor should be the same.

Uh........O.K......um.....I read the article you guys directed me to and...uh,LOOKS LIKE ITY'S GETTIN A NEW MOTOR...maybe I'm just slow,but that sounds like alot of work,maybe it's just my age showing.Thanx anyway guys,hopefully I won't jump out and rip the damn arms off like I have wanted to do SOOO many times before I can get the $90 together for a new motor.
