I have another problem, my windshield wipers work as far as going side to side as designed. but when you turn them off they dont return to their parked position. You have to get out of the car and assist them all the way down. how do i fix this? thanks forrest

Look in section 7.1 for instruction on how to fix that problem. The same thing happened to me last winter a few times, but then the wipers started working again on their own.

Also had the same problem a few months ago...after some trouble shooting I replaced the motor assy. ( bought it on ebay for $20) and it works great. The motor assy. has an internal "parking" relay. You can also buy the motor rebuilt from NAPA.......
