Wipers work in all functions except cannot get them to into park position. Need wiring diagram for wiper circuits.
Thanks for replies. Anyone have instructions on how to remove and clean contacts on wiper motor?

Have you tried cleaning the connectors on the wiper motor and hitting them with dielectric grease. Sometimes that is all it is.

Also IIRC the park function was common failure on them.

I have the same issue - but it is an on again, off again ( no pun intended ) situation.
I have found that when the engine is "under load" i. e. either normally accelerating or decelerating ( with RPM North of 2,600 ) when the wipers are turned to the completely "off" position they will return to their proper position in the lower cowl on their stops.
My Charging system is in good working order, New Optima Battery and New Alt. All wiring intact, no "shorts" in that circuit.
When the engine is either idling or at steady state "cruise" ( at any RPM under 2,500 ) the wipers WILL NOT go all the way back to their stops."zbirds" posting as to electrical contact clean-up and the addition of dielectric grease has been also recommended to me, as a potential "quick fix" by an EE friend of mine. I intend to give that a try this coming week.I will be glad to share the results of my efforts - one way or the other - later this week - After Tues Feb 28, 2012.

Excuse the late reply - My work Travel schedule completely changed and I have been non-stop for the last three weeks.
Removed cowl protective cover and accessed Wiper motor & Wiper motor Elec leads - Carefully examined wiring and connectors - NO Breaks in wires to motor from Harness - Harness condition appears to be good. No evidence of Harness integrity being breached.
I used CRC - ( GREEN ) Electrical Contact cleaner alond with a VERY SOFT Brass Brush. - Also employed some Emery paper to contacts.
Coated Contacts on both Harness side and Motor side with Thin Coat of Di-Electric grease.
Also put a Light coating of Di-Electric grease on the Outside of Connectors to Motor to add an additional layer of Moisture protection
Reinstalled -
Have complete functionality of Wiper retracting at ALL engine speeds now
Hope that that is helpful to you.
