Window switch cleaning?

Is it possible to take apart the window switch and clean the contacts? I did some searching but all I could come up with was how to take apart the door lock switches.

Update: I already separated the switch from the connector and cleaned the post on the switch but the window still wouldn't go down. I switched the up/down wires around in the connector and the window would go down but not up. I need to get inside the actual switch and clean it but it looks like it's sealed. Anybody know how to open up the switch or do I gotta get a new one?

Good question. I have taken apart door lock/unlock switches and power seat switches and "refurbished" them without much trouble, but have never taken apart (or tried to take apart) PW switches.

Might want to jumper the appropriate terminals in the switch connector to verify the windows go up/down so you can be 100% sure the problem is the switches.

The windows go up and down fine. I tried and tried but there's no way to open up the switch without actually breaking/cracking it open so I just bought a working used one from a member on this forum.
