My pass side window clips broke last fall and I finally got to repairing them this week after driving around all summer with no pass window open. I read the write up on here on the process and I tore into it expecting to remove the window to fix it. Once I got the panel off and could see inside I realized that I could do it without removing the window. I could reach both areas where the clips are epoxied to the window to clean and sand the glass. It was tight getting to the front clip, but doable. All told it took me maybe 3 hours to complete and now I have an operating window again. One thing to note, the clips recommended work well and are solid aluminum, but I thought they fit to the window a little loose. I put them in the vise to squeeze them down a little to fit snug on the glass.
