Summit has 2002 Cobra Rims 17x9 with a 4 lug pattern and 4 1/4 inch offset. I want to use a 245/45/17 tire. Will these fit?

The only Cobras made in 2002 are sold/live in Australia [Image: wink.gif]

They should fit fine but if you're going with the 17x9, put 255-45s' on them.

On my 1986 Turbo Coupe I have 17” X 9”, 4 lug, 108mm, Chrome Cobra R’s with 245/45ZR17 B.F. Goodrich G-Force T/A KDWS on the front and 275/40ZR17 B.F. Goodrich G-Force T/A KDWS on the rear. I have no issues and enjoy the look.

Thank you Pete, I have enjoyed this Turbo Coupe since the day I drove it off the assembly line. One day soon I'll send in some pictures for the NATO showroom.

Wow --

I've always preferred the 87's & 88's, but that thing is gorgeous.

What's it cost for a paint job like that?

Good morning all and thanks for the comments. As for the paint job it is the original 1986 Ford factory applied paint. This car has never been in a body shop or re-painted. The color is Medium Canyon Red Metallic and the lower grey is the stock Ford color also. Under the hood is about as clean, but it needs some work.

This car has been a summer driver since the it was buils and only has 68,370 miles on her. There are a few stone ships on her beak and small door dings so a new paint job maybe in the calling this winter.

I ordered this car, watched it built and was the first to drive her off the line. I too am a Turbo Coupe fanatic and enjoy the articles and showroom on this web site, nice job.

Soon I will post some pictures on the showroom, I just have not had the time.

Thanks again all and have a great day.

Hello Qwertys, I did some checking with my Ford contacts in Dearborn and they stated the lower Flat Gray is PPG Duracryl Acrylic Lacquer, Ditzler Finish Products, code number 33717DDL Flat Gray. Since I have not painted anything I am not sure if this is the color.

You may want to ask your local automotive paint supply source if they can get/mix you a quart and try it in a hidden place.

If you try it let us know, we may all need it one day.
