I think the gas tank will but why would you....the 83TC have a larger tank then the 87-88TC not sure about the sending unit

My tank is a little rusty and i have a good 88 TC tank. My car only holds around 18 gallons, The 88tc holds less?!?!?! Thanks

88T/C tank holds 22 gallons,I have MANY $42 fuel receipts as painful proof!

Well, my Gold 88 TC holds 22 gallons, but my Red 88 TC only holds 19. Got me what the difference is.

sctur, check out the fuel pump on the 83. I thought that one had 2. One in the tank and one on the frame. The 87-88's have just the one in the tank. So you might need to get the lines with it too. I dont know if the fittings are the same.

Thanks GT350R. I have already swapped out the crapy factory pump for an intank hp pump. So I dont have to worry about that.
I guess I will check it out tomorrow. Thanks guys.

I noticed that when I had my 85TC it held 22 gallons and my 88TC holds only 18 Gallons I think even in Chiltons it says that is all it holds
