I feel bad for asking but I can't remember which one (or more) of you guys have a 5.0 in your TC. I was wondering because I am getting my Mazda (yeeeesh!) going so I can drive it. I've decided to make my 5.0 LX a donor car and put switch everything over to my TC. I've had just a bunch of problems finding the right parts to build a turbo 4 cylinder and have already spent too much money. I figure, why not just do something REALLY nuts if I'm gonna spend that much dough! But just wondering if someone could give me info on the wiring changeover because I have EVERYTHING to do the switch.

Try TurboCoupe50, if he's not here he hangs out at the following site too. They are more oriented to the V6 and V8 crowd. http://pub5.ezboard.com/bfoxthunderbirds.html

You may be thinking of Ed Marsh. He has a business that makes 5.0 installation kits, including the wiring.

Is there anything with your 5.0 LX "donor" car? If not, why not keep things simple® and install a hopped up 5.0 or 351W in that instead?

Oh yeah, wrecked it two winters ago. I've still been driving it but the body is bad enough that it just isn't worth fixing. Plus with over 200K on the odometer(go Ford!) I'll probably do a little hoppin' on the rebuild. Just need to learn what wires go where!
