Was planning on it but just had my 2nd contractor in at the York place and just as bad as the first.  Damn hard to find good help. Trying to get it ready to sell and it's a nightmare.  If I do come it will be last minute.  I need to pay my dues as I'm sure I'm in the rears at least 2 years.  Last time was 2019 with Wyatte.  No PP for this member.  Jeff can I send you a check?  Enjoy for those who go!  Fred

Sorry to hear that you likely wont make it to Carlisle.

We prefer dues payment via Paypal as it makes things MUCH easier than a check for Paul.

You may want to contact Paul at <[email protected]> to see if he will accept a check or other form of payment.

It’s been my dream since I first started following this forum years ago, and certainly since I “formally” joined in 2015, to go to the Carlisle show and meet other NATO folks that also attend. But again this year sadly I will not be there, for a variety of reasons.

I have never been there, even when I lived in PA. I did go several times to the Butler show (about an hour north of Pittsburgh), which I understand is much smaller.

Obviously for me it’s the sheer distance from Phoenix to there. It’d be great fun to drive my Turbo Coupe across the country—I’ve done the cross-country drive a few times over the years and loved it—but it’s probably going to have to wait until I am fully retired before that happens.

I wish everyone that attends the best, I hope you all have a great time.

One NATO member (now deceased, unfortunately) drove from the Los Angles area to Carlisle twice, and another former member drove from Seattle once or twice.

For us, it is a 1900 mile round trip to Carlisle, and we have done the Carlisle trip 15 times over the last 20 years. We both love road trips! We have driven thru / to around 45 states and much of Canada over the last 35 years, and enjoyed every minute of the road trips.

After you retire, please consider planning a trip to Carlisle. I guarantee you wont regret it! Personally, I would love to meet you!

Thanks, Jeff, and the feeling is mutual. I’d also love to meet Pete D., Brian and a few others that I’ve been reading on here for years—and really, anyone who is a Turbo Coupe fan. (And, probably even, some that aren’t)

I’m certain the whole experience would be wonderful.
