I am going to try to finally get my new prc's on this year and I want to replace the coil springs. Which ones should I get,Variable or constant rate? I want to maintain stock ride height and always run in the firm mode.

I'm looking for new rear springs also. Whats the difference between the constant and variable? I thought the variable had a stock ride until you put a load on them and they get stiffer like overload springs...

Variable rate spring offers increasing resistance to compression, the further it is compressed. This can make for a comfortable under normal or light load conditions yet off a stiffer response when the car is heavily loaded or when hard corering. This is a generalization. Some people like them, some don't Try Googling
