SW925, the motorcraft one.

EDIT-ALL OF THE FOLLOWING IS WRONG...SORRY[[[the other will work, but its a universal unit designed to work with multiple years/makes/models. the motorcraft one is a vehicle specific part.]]]

SEE MY NEXT POST. THANKS.

Actually I made a mistake the one I need is for the ecu to read the coolant temps it goes in the lower intake between the 2nd and 3rd cylinder. The SW925 is for the gauge itself.

So it's okay to change the harness connector ? I thought it was odd wasn't sure why they changed the plug design. I was trying to find the round one but if this is all there is out there than it I'll have to do.

This is the one I've been using for the past four years without issue.

from the looks of the picture, i dont think youll have to change anything. they may have worded that incorrectly, and include the round connector for those who have the square. the round is far more common on that era of FORD, and looking at the list of applicable vehicle, im pretty sure all but one is a round plug harness.

you could also just grab the napa or advance auto supplied part, but i have had less luck than B with parts store electronics. i have yet to meet a pickier engine when it comes to sensors and other electronics, (save for 80's and 90's alfas... Big Grin ) so i try to keep it to motorcraft when possible.
