I'm wondering where I can get motorcraft parts for my 88 Tbird. I'm looking for idle air control valve and throttle position sensors and other stuff. I've searched around for a while on the web and can't find motorcraft. Just part store brands

Rock Auto closed out TPS maybe a2-3 years ago. I haven't heard of a new IAC in a long time. You might aska Ford dealer to check the system for a TPS somewhere but I have doubts.

Ok well if I can't find any motorcraft brand TPS or IAC sensors what brand is just as good? What other brands are recommended as a good replacement that are not junk?

If you cant find Motorcraft, try AC Delco (their Professional series only, their Advantage series is cheap Chinese made junk), or Standard Motor Products. Dorman is hit or miss. Some of their stuff is OK, and some is absolute junk. NAPA has been going down hill, IMO. Many of their small parts are rebranded Dorman stuff.

top line NAPA parts are usually a good bet, too.

Most parts stores / web sites no longer list any TPS's for the TC, however, they do list the TPS for the XR4Ti, SVO, 2.3 NA Mustang, etc, which is the same TPS used by the TC's.
