whats wrong with the board

the board doestnt show me on. it will recognize me somewhat but not for the private messages and i have to give my user name and password everytime i post or reply.
do i have to re-register?

i know what happened now. last night i downloaded the internet explorer 6.0 and when i restarted my computer it changed my configuration. that is why the nato server does not recongnize my computer. how do i fix it. should i re register? of course it will make me a rookie poster again or could that be fixed. how could i reboot under the old config?

It has to do with the new security settings for cookies in IE6. Evidently the cookies used by this site are setup in such a way that they are considered a potential security risk with IE6 default settings so it deletes the cookies when you close IE6. With IE6 you can modify your cookie security setting for individual websites which should take care of the problem. [Image: smile.gif]

I've been trying to figure out just what info the NATO cookies are collecting that violates the standard internet security settings in IE6 and who Dan is selling it to... [Image: wink.gif]

I'm unemployed...I have to make money somehow... BTW, I'm selling you all out to Homeland Security !

Allan's right about IE 6.0. Go to Tools then Internet Options then Privacy tab. You can set-up how cookies are handled for individual websites.
