On the freeway and before any real mods (before T3 and A237)

Took out a 2000-2002 Lightning. He past me after we were both going a little fast. SO I got behind him and he tried to dust me.The guy was so pissed you could trying to stomp the gas peadel down harder. So I passed him just to rub it in. Took him up 3 cars and then lifted. About 130 or so.

Remember what a turd my TC looks like and you start to laugh again [Image: biggrin.gif]

I beat a '00 f150 with my car stock, and shifting at 3000, feel sorry for the kid he thinks he's a pimp with blue headlights and underbodys. Also took a brand new '01 Honda Civic w/ SOHC VCRAP when I was boosting to 15psi.
Have lost to people on many occassions because of the shift to third-Any advice?

I have out ran alot of cars. The only car I lost to so far, that I raced, was a 85 Camaro with a 350. He got me at take off because I sat there and spun the tires. He just barked the tires and took right off. He was only 2 car lengths ahead through about 1/2 of a mile and he got in front of me and pressed the brakes. I know I could have took him to the mile length. I'm going to do some tuning and re-run his as...........

I have had good luck running to 5500-6000 in second and riding the clutch a little to build boost into third. My major problem has been topping out in fourth (and probably a little valve train and clutch wear, but who cares it's all in good fun)

I roasted a 98 or 99 BMW 5 somthing that guy was pissed (black suit and all). There isn't an -onda -ota or -ishi that I have been afraid of here in town, and I dont bother with neons anymore.

I beat a 2000 vette last year from a red light on a local highway. My exit was 3/4 of a mile away so I had to let off before he could take me on the top end. I had him by 3 cars to 110 though. He was definitely starting to make up the ground as I lifted.

Winter 2001-2002 upgrades - powerstroke intercooler(mounted full size or it won't be going in), 65mm throttle body, 42lb. injectors, custom grind roller cam, big turbo, rear suspension upgrades
NO TC and NO headaches.

I have a couple notches in the ol' belt for a couple Mustangs, Hondas, F150s, and almost every other car I have launched well against. I can understand the 3rd gear prob, I know sometimes I get overexcited and miss third, and have found that calm poise and control works best for mastering the gears.

Nailed a lexus 2 door sport model on I-75 for a few miles with lots of room to spare. 5 people in the car and 120+. yes, I know I was dumb for doing it with that many people but I was very angry at him for ridding my ass for 5 miles I guess because my car looked fast. The only hairy part was when a truck just moved over, camaro moved into my lane. I had to make a VERY quick swerve from hitting it and the other cars... cut him off to boot... but lic plate was gone by the time he could figure out what happened. Of course teh lexus got caught in all that. But I must say that the bird is amzing at those speeds with the tokiko millenia 2's and 245/55/16's on it

come on now guys i know there more, i just thought of this when i was talkin to pat fay about how a 4 door honda tried to race my trans am, dont get me wrong i dont hate on ne type of cars, but some imports are just plain funny
