I just picked up a alternator for cheap and I'm pretty sure its a PA performance alt. How can I tell if its the 95 amp or the 130amp?

That's a 95 amp. It only has 2 rows of holes and 4 holes inside the "Y" section of the case. A 130 amp has 3 rows and 2 large holes inside the Y.

WOW......look at the size difference! IMHO, you got the better of the two (95 amp). I don't think you'd ever need a 130 amp alternator, unless you have a whatup gee-whiz sound system w/boom box!

Yeh, I was thinking 95amp, but it was definitely a steal either way. I got this PA Performnace alt on evilbay for $27 with the 10 gauge PA wire with 200amp fuse. Check out item=190431663480
Heck, the fuse cable alone costs $31!! Its even powdercoated black. Had it tested and it works! I dont have a booming system. I kept the complete stock amp and radio/ cassette player but upgraded the speakers and added a amp. It sounds good but not SICK.
Gonna install alt before the So Cal get together this weekend
