What other car projects are you working on?

Just wondering what everyone is doing in their automotive life. I know a lot of the TC's we got on here are always in-progress projects, but what else are you working on?

I've got two other project cars here at the moment:

The '50 Chevy (I know...) - This is an LTP (Long-term project). My wife wants me to do it up all fancy and original. I want to rat-rod the thing. It's a 4 door so the kids can ride in the back comfortably. I want to do the hot rod black/red top/wheels scheme. Engine-wise I don't know. The original 236 is really in good shape and I got a new carb on there so it's staying at least for a while. At some point I'd like to see a V8 of some sort go in there.

And the '66 Mustang - This one is a joint venture between my brother and I. A guy owed him some money so the car was almost free. I'm doing the work on it. My brother hates Mustangs so this one may end up being sold when it's done if I can stand to let it go. I'm not big in to getting rid of cars, myself...

Sooooo.... what you got??

How long you got before that last 2% is done, Travis? That thing will be a blast when it's done!

I like the Ranchero... That's one car that I have literally never seen around here in the 10 years I've lived in VA.

I've been in the process of climbing the old corporate ladder so I haven't had many projects going on.

Right now I'm toying around with a 660cc Yamaha Raptor and a Porsche Cayman. What can I say, I love the adrenaline rush that speed and acceleration brings.

Travis can't wait to see your turbo Windsor, always thought that would be the perfect set up.

I'm working on a '72 Comet(Maverick twin) that I bought as a unfinished project... Body wise everything was removed & painted, new interior, even all NOS glass, but aesthetically the engine compartment was a mess...

Sooo now it's getting a fresh built, never fired(at least till yesterday) 306 with alu heads that I found on Craigslist... It still has a long way to go but I now have all the pieces to put it together, incl all new front suspension, parts to rebuild the power steering, install '69 Torino disc brakes, etc(discs were not avail on Maverick/Comet till '74, can you imagine that?)...

As I bought it... Still missing a few things(in trunk), and the GT stripes

The "ahem" engine compartment... I started just going to repl a slightly leaking water pump and spruce it up a bit but obviously things snowballed, next thing I knew the engine was out as well as all front suspension...

Its current state... The C4 trans is fresh with maybe 50mi or it would be out as well..

Found all this stuff hiding under the front fenders, anyone have any idea how to put it back???

Steering sector cleaned and detailed...

Fresh 306 with Pro Comp heads, 8020 Weiand intake, and smallest Lunati Voodo cam available for small block... I had a freind go back through the shortblock just to be sure it was machined and assembled correctly & this was taken yesterday just a couple minutes prior to first start... Originally had a rumpy-rump cam(sold) and E'brock EFI intake, that will go on my T-Bird...

I just have to run 2 wires for the alternator and prime and hopefully start.

Next weekend if all goes right.
