Did you search at all? Assuming not [Image: smile.gif]...search for "gillis". It's an adjustable boost control valve that can be bought from http://www.boostvalve.com

Also do more searching on the limitations of the ihi and the necessary precautions to take before increasing boost above stock levels.

it would not be wise to crank boost to 20 on the ihi because it takes the seals out i know.that and anything over 18psi is not good on them.

A T3 turbo is what you need. Like Black88tc said, anything over 17-18 psi started to heat up the air & thats not what you want . [Image: biggrin.gif]

Turning an IHI up to 20 will be very detrimental to the longevity of your turbo (it IS almost 20 years old any ways [Image: biggrin.gif] ) a T-3 off of an 83-86 should be a direct bolt on, and is good for up to around 24 pounds, but, then it's the same thing with your IHI at 18, it'd be at the end of it compressor efficency, pumping out hot(ter) air than it would at lower boost levels, but, it'd be good for 20 pounds.

Also a T3 at 18 psi is moving more air than an IHI at 18 psi

What is needed? Spin the IHI at about 180,000 RPM, and blow it up [Image: smile.gif]

so you guys are saying that the IHI pushing 20 psi will be super heating the air corrct? and then obviously the sotck IC sucks. but what if you mounted a FMIC and ran 20 psi?since for one your getting the IC away from the turbo. and probably getting the air colder if it is front mounted. but from what ive been readin 20 psi is the limits of the IHI. my IHI is brand new and has no shaft play but i sure dont plan to run more then 17-18 psi. even after this HG is installed.
