What would you think about taking the silver down to the side moulding and doing the black under that? I like different, the scheme you picked is exactly that, different.

Thanks for the pic. I have a rendering with that color combo. I have one in blue also. I also have have one with the black below the beltline only and silver above. I just don't know what I'm gonna do. I'm pretty sure I don't want to leave it stock looking. I'll keep testing until I come up with something...

It looks like the Harley Davidson F150 truck. Might even be cool to put some harley emblems too

I like the black & silver look... Then again, maybe I'm just weird that way.

Just my opinion, i really like a solid color car alot better. To me its more timeless (not as trendy) and looks smoother, like its not craving the attention. If you are trying to save money just get it painted at macco or do it yourself untill you can afford a good paintjob. But its your car so do what you want.

I am doing it myself. Just painting the top of the car saves time and money.... Make that a crapload of time, and it will cover all of the bad areas of paint on the car. The chances of respraying just the top and it matching the 21 year old faded factory black are slim to none. That's why I'm opting to spray on a contrasting or complementary color instead. I will NEVER spend the money on a professional repaint. The car has too many 'little' things wrong with the body to invest. If I ever come across a very straight bird in the future, then I will invest the paint, but not on this one. Thanks for the ideas and suggestions.

I like it. Wonder how it would look if the header panel above the bumper were all silver?
