I pulled the gas tank today on my red TC to replace a bad pump... Was as cruddy as if it had been at the bottom of the ocean for a couple years... This car was stored inside till a year and a half ago, pump quit sometime while it was inside...

I also pulled the tank from my parts car that's set behind the garage since '01(actually I don't think it' spent a night inside in it's life)... That one would always start with no issue(ran last week), tank looks new inside...

Fixed my trunk tension bar that popped out of place. That was a pain in the butt. Only snapped my fingers twice in the torsion bar before I got it in the first slot. But now it works the way it should.

Parked it, because one of the brake calipers froze, and the inner pad wore completely away while the outer one looks almost brand-new. Now I need new rotors Sad

Brian, you know I have do everything the hard way first!!! Then I find the easy way by trial and error. LOL. Main thing is, once I got it in the first slot I just used a socket and extension to get into the second for the proper tension.

Ran my very first KOEO/KOER test with my new EQUUS INNOVA reader.
I had a check engine light until I shut it off to connect the reader. Once I hooked it up and did the KOEO it displayed - 11 pass/ok/no check engine light now. It seems something is resetting when I shut it down then turn the key back on.

Next, did the KOER and the motor reved really high. I shut the motor off immediately. I got a cylinder-4 reading. After I restarted the car to go home. I noticed a different sound coming from the engine. Sounded like a vacume leak. I also notice the fuel pump sounded different. I hope shutting the engine off during the test didn't hurt anything.
Anyway, I got a cylinder 4 reading.

All on the same trip home. I got rear ended by a Expedition. Didn't hurt the bird as far as I can tell. I think shes OK as far as thats concerned.
