I just got an 88 TC recently I was wondering what the MSRP was when they were new? I've done a search on Google and so far came up with nothing.
I never really realized how many options and features the TC had over the competition like the Monte Carlo SS (I own one) I wish my SS had ABS, power buckets, ride control etc!

Maybe without any options, Brian. The sticker price for my 87 with all options exept leather and premium sound was just over $21,000. I actually paid $17,131, though.
HTH
EDIT: I sure wish I could get a car these days for that price that's as good!

yes I believe that was base price, you can never find a price of a car with all the options unless your at a dealership.
I second the now thing. Ive been looking for a new car and anything around 20,000 grand looks cheap with plastic interior parts, fake looking leather, and so on. For a car like that your looking at about 28,000. Like the mustang GT premium.

About the same for mine. Sticker was a little over $21k, paid $17.3k for it.
And I hear you on getting a car now-a-days for that price. Bought an Infiniti G35 Coupe last Saturday. I did get it for only $600 over invoice, but it was still in the upper $30k region. Nice car though!!!

The 85 I bought new was $16,410 (moonroof but no leather)
and the 86 I have now stickered at $15,893 (no moonroof or leather)
both 5 speed cars with keyless entry, and whatever the basic option package was that gave you all the power stuff.

Did the earlier cars have all the "fancy stuff" Ride Control, ABS, etc? A friend of mine had an '86 in the late '80's I don't recall it being quite as loaded as this '88 I have.
