Not bad for a stockish 2v 4.6...

I was curious cause two weeks ago I took the Comet on it'd first outing to the local(sort of) 1/8mi track... It's peg leg 3.00 rear gear killed it, but I managed a 2.18 60 ft, 6.06 330ft and went 9.23 @ 77.72... Wallace racing 1/8 to 1/4 said it'd run [email protected], guess that'd be close...

I'd say that's pretty close! Hope to do some work on it. My goal is low 13s high 12s.

Is that weight just car or with driver?? With aluminum headed 5.0 my T-Bird weighed 3560(3760 with me)...There was 35-40 lb of tools and the doughnut spare in the trunk that I could have left in pits, but was by myself the night I weighed it...

I know what to do to run 12s with a 5.0, but I'm lost talking 4.6 performance... I built the Comet as a cruiser, max performance wasn't the goal...

I hope there is. I've got some tuning to do along with some Wiring work.
