I went and rented an engine lift yesterday...pulled out the old block, swapped out the flywheel and clutch and dropped in the new engine !!! Yippie !

"Dropped in the new engine"...I make that sound like it was a piece of cake...LOL ! It was pretty difficult in fact. Lining up the spline of the T5 with the clutch disk is a major PITA !

At least I didn't break anything this time ! I'll be spending the next couple of days hooking everything back up and getting fluids in...then triple checking all my connections and stuff. Then the moment of truth !!! Pray for me !!! hehehe ! [Image: biggrin.gif]

Anybody know where I can get the clips that hold the fuel lines (from the fuel rail) to the metal lines on the chassis ?

What a weight that is lifted though knowing that at least the sucker is in the engine compartment !!! My wife can put her car in the garage again... [Image: rolleyes.gif]

Yeah, but I live closer! [Image: wink.gif] Once Dan gets my 8 TC wheels polished he can do yours. [Image: smile.gif]

Glad to hear you're making progress Dan. You might not have to push the car to Carlisle after all!
