Weird miss/ cut-out

This was an odd once in a while deal, and now its gotten worse. Its very general, I know, but I thought I might post in the hopes its something easy, and some recognizes it.

Driving along, idle, or constant speed, or even on acceleration, there seems to be a cut-out for a split second. Not really a miss, more like a loss of spark, maybe?

The plugs are very recent, maybe 2000 miles on them. The wires are around 10 years old now, a set of Ford MotorSport 9mm's (not sure about the size). The distributor cap and rotor are also new, Napa Gold variety.

If it was mine I would replace the 10 year old wires, just to eliminate the possibility.
