Weatherstripping and rubber parts

Does anyone know what differences there are in the rubber parts between the year models? Steele Rubber Products makes a good number of rubber products for the fox tbirds, but a lot of them are listed as 83-86, such as the door weatherstripping.. they list it up to 87 but not 88. They even have the A-pillar seals and the bottom-of-the-door seals. Their website is steelerubber.com but it seems a little wierd to use. I have the 576 page paper catalog.. it's a bit easier to browse through. I called earlier today, but the woman I got on sales wasn't able to tell me much of anything past what was in the catalog..

Well, got no replies so I ordered anyway.

Front of door seal to A-pillar checks out. It's not the fuzz like factory, all rubber, but seems to fit. I haven't put the drip rail seal back in yet, so no checks on sealing, yet. They make the drip rail seal, too.

Bottom of the door seals will work. Only problem with the set I got was the push clips at the very end on both ends were missing. Just had to make the holes and use two from the old set.

Door opening weatherstripping was no problem. There was an extra 8 inches are so to make sure the fit was good. Gotta wait for it to settle in so it doesn't take so much effort to shut the door now.. not a bad sign.

The upper rear door corner rubber pads are a good fit.

The fender-hood bumpers seem fine. I lost my originals so I have no comparison.

I have yet to install the trunk weatherstripping until I get finished buffing the rear of the car.

Took me a minute to find it.. didn't see it listed anywhere unless you did the specific model search. Mine's an 88, so according to them, they wouldn't have fit anyway. Not to mention the price :o You could always call them! They do show it as "Original Material" though, the upper quality level, so maybe it could be worth it. If I remember, when I talked to them before, if the product wasn't correct they do accept returns, but I'd call just to be on the safe side.
