Hello, just giving a friendly warning... PLEASE READ!!
I recieved an e-mail from tbird8787 ( not actually sent by him, but by a virus ) with a virus attachment ( i believe that he had added my e-mail to an address book when he saw it on the boards ) ...
It is the Klez virus which distributes itself to other people on address books so everyone on this board may have recieved one.
It will send either a blank e-mail or a small message and have 3 attachments. One a blank text attachment, a picture of some sort, and an executional file. DO NOT OPEN ANY OF THEM.
If you have opened the executional file, then you have already been infected, the only symptoms you may notice is your computer running verrrrry slowly...
If this is so, go to mcafee.com and download the shareware version of their virus scanner (search around the pages). Symantec's Norton antivirus will not work, as the virus seeks out it's files and infects them as soon as it can.
For more info on this virus, go to http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_99455.htm
Thanks for your time,
Brian Kramer
