Better looking kit at http://www.groundfx.com/GroundFX%20Apps.asp
Weight of a plastic kit is minimal, probably less than 5 pounds. Fiberglass kit will run between 10 and 15 depending on the lay-up, but I doubt you will find any fiberglass kits nowadays. I have front and rear pieces that are fiberglass, made I believe by Paciffic which went out of business more than 5 years ago.
The Koble kit above is about the best looking kit available, easy to install and can take bumps and bottoming out fairly well. With age especially during cold weather they may crack if stressed enough. If I have to replace my kit, I will go with the Kobel kit by McK. Price is $479.oo last I checked, plus s/h and off course painting. Be prepared to spend between $750 to $1000 for a complete kit, painted and installed (unless you paint/install yourself.
Good luck and if you or anyone out there does do a kit, please send me pics, I'd like to see more TC's with kits on them.
