I dont know but, my 87 shakes and vibrates. I think it may be the ring and pinion gears. Because you can tell if gears have slack in them, but when its cold in the morning it does not do it and theres no slack. but when it warms up it does it again. when u step on it u can tell its loose, does anyone know what it is or if it is this problem?

I wouldn't expect your rear gears to make any sort of vibration in the car unless they were recently put together in a very wrong way, and even that sounds like a longshot. Does the vibration occur just under acceleration, or deceleration (with the transmission in gear), too? Does it go away if the transmission in neutral? Does the speed of the car change the frequency or intensity of the vibration at all?

The vibration is probably due to the u-joints needing to be replaced. It is a very common question here, and almost always turns out to be the u-joints. I have had to replace them in every TC I have owned.

I have changed the u-joints twice. And it does it all the time, when its in neutral or just coasting along. Could it be the little weights on the drive shaft, that balance it.

It is possible that the transmission slip yolk's harmonic dampener has slipped. This would throw the shaft out of balance. This has happened to a number of TC owners. Take the driveshaft to a driveshaft shop and have them run a balance check on it.
